Biografia
Nací en Zaldibar Bizkaia en abril de 1967, mi afición por la Fotografía y la Naturaleza viene desde mi juventud, empecé a estudiar Ciencias Geológicas en la Universidad del País Vasco, momento donde podía compaginar dos grandes aficiones la fotografía y el estudio de Geología. Usando la fotografía como medio de documentación y estudio a su vez descubriendo espacios naturales de gran belleza fotográfica.
He tomado muchas fotografías de mis viajes en película y diapositiva que viendo desde la prespeptiva de los años muestran una gran diferencia con los medios actuales de la Fotografía Digital.
Después de un periodo de relativa escasez fotografía hacia finales del año 2006 el descubrimiento para mi de la Fotografía Digital, mucho mas versátil, cómoda, inmediata en los resultados y con mucha mas calidad que la que podía obtener con las películas, y sobre todo el conocer a José Benito Ruiz, gran fotógrafo y mejor persona que me sirve de guía en mi proceso de aprendizaje de esta afición, me ha permitido renovar todo mi equipo de fotografía y volver a redescubrir los lugares tan maravillosos que nos rodean.
Os presento algunas imágenes tomadas en este corto periodo de tiempo que iré actualizando y renovando.
Biography
Born in Zaldibar, Biscay, in April 1967, this taste for photography and Nature proceeds from my youth.
I studied Geology Science at the University of the Basque Country where my two favourite interests, photography and the study of geology, would be reconciled. Thereby, I could use photography as a document for my research and in some other cases as a means to discover natural spaces of an immense photography beauty.
Having shot plenty of rolls of films and slides in my trips, I have realised a very big change has come about all along these years with the current use of the Digital Photography.
After letting photography stand over for a while, at the end of the year 2006, I discovered Digital Photography (much more versatile, comfortable, quick in results and with a much higher quality than the reel film photography) as well as José Benito Ruiz, (an exceptional photographer, and even better as a person, who guides me in the learning process of this hobby), that have allowed me to renew all my photography equipment and to take lots of photos which have granted the chance to rediscover such marvellous places that surround us.
Let me thus show you some images shot in this short period of time that I will gradually update and renew.
